Whats on this summer 08

Tue 17th Jun 2008 Brancaster Midsummer Music - Sacconi String Quarter This concert brings the Sacconi String Quartet who, since their first appearance at Brancaster in 2005, have taken the musical world by storm. Even more excitingly, they will give the British premiere of Robin Holloway’s Second String Quartet, a work which Brancaster Midsummer Music has co-commissioned with financial assistance from the RVW Trust. The world premiere will be given six days earlier in Madrid.

The festival offers a lively selection of free entertainment, sponsored by local businesses, with street entertainment, concerts and arena events combined with a good humoured carnival atmosphere. The events kicks off with fireworks on the opening night.

Sat 05th Jul 2008, Sat 02nd Aug 2008, Sat 06th Sep 2008 and Sat 04th Oct 2008 Mountain Bike Skills Courses Come and join us for a great day out and learn how to ride a mountain bike.Skills covered include bike set up, core positioning, lifting the front wheel, going uphill and getting back down again, cornering, drop offs.Courses run 10am till 4pm and cost £60.Under 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
